Halloween Week- Pumpkin Costume!

9:21 AM

Now, I know that post series are very loved around here. I haven't done one in a while. I'm not going into detail about how crazy my life is again, but it's crazy. I have tomorrow off, so I'm spending today and tomorrow to prepare all of  Halloween Week. A week where I show off my doll costumes- and a fun giveaway at the end.

Like last year, if you'd like to send photo of your doll Halloween costume to agchloeandzoe@gmail.com I'd love to post and share them here!

This year for Halloween, Caroline took the pumpkin costume.

For the past two years the pumpkin costume was claimed by Lanie, because I love the way her blonde curls fall with the chubby little pumpkin. But I switched it up this year and I am very glad I did. Caroline's eyes look so gorgeous with this.

I don't believe I've ever posted about the pumpkin costume and how it was made, so let me explain.

The shirt is a shirt for young girls (I believe about five years old) that I purchased at Walmart two years ago.

We kept the sleeves cuffed (I think it adds to the young-ish feel the costume has) and stuff the shirt silly with fluff. There are two leg hole at the bottom that the leggings are attached too. I don't remember if the leggings were purchased separately from the top or not.

The outfit also has shoes and a hat, the hat being a hat for a baby and the shoes are young children socks that was stuff with fluff and tied with a hair tie.

*insert pumpkin emoji here*

Every year I photograph this costume with little pumpkins, but I did big pumpkins this year and I love how the different shades of orange contrast!

I hope you all enjoyed this post. I've definitely missed posting here. I know pumpkins aren't that exciting, but stay tuned for tomorrow when I post about my new Maleficent costume! I am in love with it!

love, chloe
