Picnic Week Day 4: Chip-tastic!

Okay dollies, today we are making POTATO CHIPS!!! We have working on this craft for quite some time, and we finally perfected it!!

You'll need:

print out a picture of a potato chip bag
tape
scissors

First, fold the paper along the bottom of the bag. Cut it out but DO NOT cut the bottom side!

Once unfolded, it should look like the picture above.

Tape it all together. Don't tape the top, so you can open it!

Now, crumple it up and throw it away. Just kidding! But seriously, crumple it!

Now, you may un-crumple. xD And you're done with the potato chip bag!

To make the potato chips, you will need:

yellow craft foam
scissors (a hole punch would work great also!)

Cut out a bunch of little circles!

And you're done!

Picnic Week Day 3: Watermelon Time!

Are you girls ready to make some watermelon?

Here's what you'll need:

tape
pink craft foam (red will work also)
green craft foam
sharpie or black marker
scissors

First off, cut a triangle out of the pink craft foam.

Round the corners (with scissors)

Cut a green piece of craft foam as long a the pink piece.

Put the green piece on top of the pink piece.

Tape together (glue would work also)

Draw some black circles on the pink piece.....

AND YOUR DONE!

Picnic Week Day 2: Sandwich Party!

Good morning! :D I hope everyone is enjoying this lovely day so far!

For day two of Picnic Week, we are making the main course; sandwiches!

This is what you'll need:

different colored craft foam (you need a brown for the bread, and we chose green for lettuce, yellow for cheese, and red for tomato)
scissors
glue

Let's get started!

Cut the corners off of your craft foam. You'll need two brown pieces!

Apply glue to one of the brown pieces.

Stick one of the other pieces on top of the brown.

Repeat this process, and your done!

Make two for a whole sandwich!

Picnic Week Day 1: Lemonade Social

You all remember our 4th of July photo contest right?

It looks like the majority of you loves summer picnics!

So do we!

So, for this week (it ends Sunday) we are do the post series; Picnic Week!

Each day we show you how to make a craft like lemonade or watermelon to take on your picnic!

Let's get started! :D

Today is we are showing how to make lemonade!

This is what you'll need:

yellow craft paint (puffy paint works also!)
straws
scissors
small pearls or clear beads
plastic shot glasses (we found a variety of color at our local Dollar Store)

Let's get started!

Step one is to pour in the paint to the desired amount.

Cut the straw to the desired amount.

While the paint is still wet, stick the straw into the cup. (As you can see, we are very messy people ;) )

Sprinkle a few of the pearls in, for ice cubes.

And, you're done!

Make as many as you'd like!

In other news, I just got a pixie cut today, and am able to now do a fabulous Justin Beieber hair flip. (But I highly dislike JB)

Now, I want a boy doll.

I have always wanted one, just I could never make myself do it...
It just seems WRONG, taking a girl, and making her a boy!
Does anybody else think that?

But recently, I have found some pre-made boy dolls.

I want one with blonde hair and blue eyes.

This one, is from Enchanted Designer on Etsy, and I think he is REALLY cute! I just HATE his outfit! It comes with really nice boots though...that would be great for a Hunger Games outfit. But he still looks feminine.

He is also 155$

Above...(sorry so small) is another boy on eBay. I like him much better...his hair looks much more like Peeta's. His eyebrows are bushier which looked weird at first, and are now growing on me.

He also comes with swim shorts and surfboard.

L-O-V-E!

He is currently at 129$ with no bidders.

Goodies from Mom!

NO, WE'RE NOT DEAD!

We just went on a vacation. ;) Well, mommy did at least. We decided to kick back and sleep in for once this summer! But, updates and upcoming posts will be at the bottom of this post!

Anyways, mommy just got back from vacation, and brought us some goodies! I thought I'd share! :)

First off, she got us apples!

They are delicious! :D

We are so lucky mommy got us TWO!

She also got us a lemon!

My sisters and I play this game where we all take a slice of lemon, suck on it, and see who can keep a straight face the longest! :) It is so much fun!

Here's a closer look at the lemon,

She even got us baby tomatoes!

She knew Kanani would LOVE them, so she got us three!

Believe me, they are SCRUMPTIOUS!

But wait- there's more! XD

She got us this little book,

and some little notebook covers!

She even got us a little bowl and spoon!

Now this last goodie, needs some explaining.

All my sisters have collection. Caroline collects Iwako eraser animals, Mia collects shoes, Molly collects mini Lalaloopsys, Lindsey collects little My Little Pony toys, and so on.

I recently mentioned I want a collection, and this is what mommy got me as a "Welcome Home" present, and a "Fourth of July" present.

She got me......
